Grilled pineapple

Grilled pineapple is a deliciously sweet and smoky treat that’s perfect for summer barbecues or as a refreshing dessert any time of year.

Equipment

  • Grill: Outdoor grill or stovetop grill pan.
  • Cutting Board: For cutting the pineapple.
  • Sharp Knife: For slicing the pineapple.
  • Tongs: For flipping the pineapple slices on the grill.

Ingredients
  

  • For Grilled Pineapple
  • 1 ripe fresh pineapple
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon optional
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted (optional)
  • Lime juice optional

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the pineapple by peeling and slicing it into rings.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Brush the pineapple with melted butter and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • Grill the pineapple for 3-4 minutes on each side until grill marks form.
  • Serve warm with your choice of toppings.
