Steak Fajitas

Steak Fajitas are a vibrant and flavorful dish that combines juicy marinated steak with charred peppers and onions, all wrapped in warm tortillas.

Equipment

  • Cast-iron skillet or grill pan
  • Mixing bowls
  • Tongs
  • Sharp knife
  • Cutting boar

Ingredients
  

  • Flank Steak: 1 lb
  • Marinade:
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetables:
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • Tortillas: 8 small flour or corn tortillas
  • Optional Toppings: Guacamole sour cream, salsa, shredded cheese, cilantro

Instructions
 

  • Marinate the Steak
  • Combine lime juice, olive oil, garlic, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Add the steak, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Prep and Sauté Vegetables
  • Slice bell peppers and onion. Set aside until ready to cook.
  • Cook the Steak
  • Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat with a bit of oil. Sear the steak for 3–5 minutes on each side. Remove, let it rest, then slice thinly.
  • Sauté the Vegetables
  • In the same skillet, cook the bell peppers and onions for 5–7 minutes, until tender and slightly charred.

Notes

Warm Tortillas and Serve
Fill each tortilla with steak slices, sautéed veggies, and any toppings of choice. Serve immediately and enjoy!
