Marry Me Chicken Pasta Recipe
This creamy pasta dish is rich, savory, and irresistible. The tender chicken, tangy sun-dried tomatoes, and creamy Parmesan sauce come together with your favorite pasta for a dish that feels like love on a plate.
- 12 oz pasta fettuccine, penne, or rigatoni
- 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese plus more for garnish
- 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes chopped
- Fresh basil for garnish
Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Sear in olive oil until cooked through. Remove and let rest.
In the same skillet, sauté garlic. Add chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan, and sun-dried tomatoes. Simmer until slightly thickened.
Slice chicken and combine with pasta and sauce in the skillet. Toss gently.
Garnish with fresh basil and additional Parmesan. Serve immediately.
