Marry Me Chicken Pasta Recipe

This creamy pasta dish is rich, savory, and irresistible. The tender chicken, tangy sun-dried tomatoes, and creamy Parmesan sauce come together with your favorite pasta for a dish that feels like love on a plate.

Equipment

  • Large skillet or sauté pan
  • Large pot (for cooking pasta)
  • Tongs
  • Cutting board and knife
  • Wooden spoon

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz pasta fettuccine, penne, or rigatoni
  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese plus more for garnish
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes chopped
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Sear in olive oil until cooked through. Remove and let rest.
  • In the same skillet, sauté garlic. Add chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan, and sun-dried tomatoes. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  • Slice chicken and combine with pasta and sauce in the skillet. Toss gently.
  • Garnish with fresh basil and additional Parmesan. Serve immediately.
